Apricot FOTD feat. Nude by Nature Illuminator

The weather is light and breezy, so I felt like sticking to warmer colours today...

Something simple and easy. I really do like this foundation and its one of my everyday ones that I use. The blush is perfect for summer, although I haven't used it in some time. And the illuminator is new (see link above!), seeing as the post generated some interest I thought I would use it to show how it looks in use.

I used a bit more than I would normally just so the camera picks it up, I love how natural it is! Ok, enough raving about it - I raved enough in my review!

Do you find apricot-peach colours suitable for warmer weather?

  1. Oh yay Sarah, so glad you posted the pic of your gorgeous face plus the illuminator - you're looking stunning hon, and your skin! Oh my, it's flawless ♥ I haven't ventured to the shops as yet (I'm a chicken when it comes to end of year sales) but when I do, I'll be snapping up that Revlon lippy too, such a pretty shade and perfect for this look xxx

    1. Oh thank you :) I know what you mean, I don't think it's safe just yet! Although seeing as my closest Chemist Warehouse is open till 9pm on Fridays, I made a sneaky trip there tonight - 50% off cosmetics including Revlon! Amazing!!

  2. Gorgeous look Sarah! That illuminator is beautiful on your skin tone - it didn't work well for me but suits you amazingly :) I can understand why you're raving so much :D

  3. Lovely FOTD! Based on your recent review, I went back to it, and mixed it in with my Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser and it made my skin that little bit more luminous, AND no flaking!

  4. I love the blush on you! ^_^ Great FOTD, You look gorgeous! Is the illuminator sparkly? I'm not sure how i feel about the revlon one, a bit of the ole' disco ball effect.

    1. Thanks Lily :) the illuminator is a little bit sparkly, but not super glittery. It's the least sparkly illuminator I've tried - it gives me more of a glowy look rather than being shimmery :)
