Airwick Multicolour Black Edition Candle

I'm going to have to stereotype us females and say that we probably all love things that are pretty and smell gorgeous, right? So of course its natural for us to love scented candles

I was asked to review the Airwick Multicolour Black Edition candle* (in crackling fire and cinammon spice) and I've really enjoyed using it so far.

Before I even opened it up, I could already tell that it smelt delicious, a gorgeous fragrance of fruit - like apple mixed with cinammon. I really love these types of smells. It's not too overpowering either, its quite subtle. I'm not a fan of really strongly scented things, like incense, so I'm glad that its a subtle scent!

I had this burning one night while I was doing some uni work and it was so relaxing - the smell was so nice and I loved watching the colours change. It was possibly a little distracting but the colours were too pretty to ignore!

I found that it had a short wick, but it still is meant to burn for up to 30 hours. I'm not too experienced in candles but that sounds very long lasting to me.

I've taken some pictures (during the day, I didn't get decent ones at night with flash) so you can see the different colours of the candle...

How cool is that! There are more colours too, the transition colours in between and also a yellow colour too :)

Once I've used up the candle, I intend on taking out the left over wax and using the glass for something, maybe as a pencil holder for my desk or to hold some makeup brushes.

Do you like the look of this candle? I sure hope so, because next week I'll be giving away one of these beauties to a lucky reader, so watch this space for a giveaway post :)

  1. I love that you don't stick to stereotypical beauty posts! Actually really liked this post. I'm not a massive fan of rich and intense smells either, I like something subtle and relaxing. Also the glass is so pretty!

  2. How pretty, I've seen the ads for this on TV but it's good to know that the colour changing isn't just gimmicky and the candle's actually good too.
