Skincare with Clearasil

This time last year, I honestly did not care much about skincare at all. I did all the basics, but that was about it. But I've found that reading blogs and communicating with other bloggers has really expanded my interest in skincare. Over the past year, I've come across a lot of new and exciting products. I'm going to share one of the with you - it's the Clearasil Vitamins & Extracts Daily Scrub*. Now, I've been sent this product to trial before, but I love it so much that I'm doing another post on it.

When I was in my teens, I did not think that much of Clearasil, but times have changed. Want to know more? Then keep reading!

This scrub is a tube of delicious smelling, green scrubby goodness. It's quite thick and paste like, with small exfoliant beads, so you only need a small amount the size of a 20c piece. The beads aren't overly abrasive, so its perfect for every day use. I use this religiously every morning as I find it great for deep cleansing, and it's a great way to wake me up. It doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry, but I always moisturise anyway. I've been using this for many months (as this is my second tube) and my skin has been looking clear. I can't really think of any negatives, except that with the oncoming cooler months, the paste-like formula might become a bit more difficult to squeeze out, as the mouthpiece is quite small.

Does this sound interesting to you? Well, you're in luck (if you're an Australian resident)! I've been sent an extra tube, so I have one up for grabs. I'll leave this giveaway open until the 1st of May, 12am Sydney time. I'll contact the winner by email and wait 48 hours for a response before redrawing. Also please note, my final exams are less than 3 weeks away, so it may take me a week or two before I can send it out! Thanks and good luck :)

  4. I use the cleanser version of this but would love to try the scrub! My current favourite skincare product is my Sukin rosehip oil, which is doing such a great job of healing and fading any fresh acne scars that pop up.

  5. This sounds lovely! My favourite skincare item is The Body Shop tea tree oil, I apply it on blemishes and they disappear super fast.

By the way think it's linking to someone else's Instagram from the Instagram link above :)

My favourite skincare product would have to be my Kora Organics day and night moisturiser at the moment. :)

At the moment ive been using a Dermaquest Glyco Creamy Cleanser and its just so wonderful. Very gentle and you use so little of it that one bottle just lasts and lasts.
