Sleek i-Divine Vintage Romance palette

Yet another palette that I don't need, but couldn't resist because I saw pretty swatches. More specifically, I saw swatches over on Cathy's blog that made me need it! Anyhoo, it was pretty cheap off the Sleek website and arrived in about two weeks.

The outer case and cardboard box

The plastic sheet which lies on top has names of all the shades. I love the cute names with their geographical references and alliteration!

I'll let the pictures do the talking. There is a gorgeous collection of colours in here, something for everyone, but they seem to be geared towards pink/purple colours. I have rarely worn these colours on my eyes so it may be something for the more adventurous makeup lovers, such as fellow beauty blogger Kat over at Kat's Colourings - check out her blog for some creative inspiration and gorgeous eye looks!

Swatches!

They all swatch beautifully, even the matte shade, much to my delight! I love all the colours in the top row, and the first few are ones that I definitely would wear. I LOVE how shimmery and beautiful they look, especially in the sun, and the colour pay-off is excellent.

As I said, I am a bit scared of some of the brighter colours, so I've only tried out the 2nd and 3rd shade so far but they blended and applied beautifully. Wear time was excellent, using my trusty Too Faced Shadow Insurance primer.

Overall, I think this is a *great* palette for the price point with a beautiful mix of colours. This is the first eyeshadow palette I've tried by Sleek and I am impressed!

  1. Noooooo!!! I feel a lemming coming on! On the upside, with it being a LE item, that makes it easier to not get it!

    1. Yes but being LE means you have to buy it before its gone, right? Haha sorry, that probably isn't helping your spending ban!
