MUA Heaven & Earth for warmer skin tones

After many months of chronic use of the Undressed palette, I thought I would buy Heaven & Earth. So far, I haven't used it that much. I've noticed that it doesn't seem to show up as much as the colours from Undressed.

(bad judgement call, Sarah...)

Anyway, it's not a total write-off. It is a nice palette to own if you're a neutral fan. I love bronzes, golds, coppers and any variation of these colours so I really wanted H&E.

Whether it is a good buy for warmer skin tones is really a subjective issue, but I've posted some swatches here for you to have a look!

The pigmentation of these shadows are mostly good, the matte shades aren't as pigmented. I find this to be a common trend with MUA palettes. My favourite shades would have to be shade 5 and 11 as they are both warm, shimmery gorgeous colours. To be honest, I'm not sure I'll get much use out of the others. Any suggestions?

Now I will show you my reason for buying this palette...

This is the Undressed palette, 8 months old now. You might be able to tell that shade 6, 7 and 10 are the ones I've used the most - the gold, bronze and the brown. The other shades I haven't used much at all. So it seemed natural to buy H&E.

Do you own this palette? Do you think it suits warmer skin tones?

    1. I have a feeling I won't be using H&E much! It would probably work much better for your fair skin tone :)

  2. I actually LOVE my H&E, and often wear it as a wash over my lids when paired with a bright lip! It's also perfect for creating gorgeous looks using earthy colours, although I do agree with you on the matte shades. Mind you, my Undressed Me Too is just as bad, some of the shades just disappear on me!

Having said that, I don't mind it too much as they are so affordable, I'd be happy if I liked two or three shades from the entire palette. :)

    1. That's a good idea, I might try that :) Undress Me Too looks stunning, but I know it won't suit my colouring!

  3. I have both of these palettes too - I don't really touch H&E because I have a similar palette from Australis. I guess I bought H&E as a back up palette :)

    1. Is it the Australia Nudist palette that you're referring to? I was keen on it but I think I have enough neutrals lol :) I wouldn't mind seeing comparison swatches of Nudist vs H&E, though!
